I guess I should probably say “I” instead of “us” because this is my site containing my thoughts. Let me first
start by thanking you for visiting. I hope you are here with your mind set on success because that is why I
have created it. My name is Scott and I am fascinated with success. I am fascinated with the drive,
motivation and vision that are required to be successful and I am especially fascinated with successful
people. There are few things more inspiring to witness than someone in their most successful and
powerful state. I try to associate myself with as many successful people as possible. Someone once said
that you should always surround yourself with people smarter than youare. Well I believe the same is true
for successful people. I have tried to do that as best I can throughout my life. I got off to a great start with
my parents and have done my best to continue on that track with professors, coworkers, friends and the
like.
The way I see it, you can never get enough exposure to smart and successful people. What makes this
tough is that you only know so many people with whom to associate. And you can only build your network
so fast. I decided that the next best thing to putting me in an environment full of successful people is to
read, listen and understand their work.
Reading is such a powerful ability that most every one of us possess. It gives us the chance for unlimited
learning. I love to read, and I especially love to read things that I feel are expanding my knowledge base
and are teaching me things that I can directly apply to my life. I have been doing all of this reading and
collecting of data and I realized that I have so much valuable information that I hardly share with anybody
aside from those close to me. The great thing is that you have the power to learn and understand as much
or as little as you want. That is what gave me the idea for ReadingForYourSuccess.com.
The purpose of this site is simply to share all of the wonderful literary sources for success that I have come
across over the years. I have provided book reviews and guidance on what I think are the most valuable
books for success that I have discovered. One day I too hope to be able to use all of these sources in
combination with my experiences to put my story of success into writing for others.
